24 hours in Jaipur- The Pink City

The Amer Fort is one of the highlights of Jaipur, and given its historic importance, a visit here is a must. Not only will its history leave you enlightened, but sweeping views of its location and structure too, will leave you awestruck! A marvel of architecture, the construction of this place is thought-provoking given its intricate details and layout. Its erection began in the 15th century when this place served as the capital of the kingdom. This is a favorite jaunt of visitors from the neighboring cities of Delhi and Agra, given its location on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. You can spend an hour or an hour and a half here, before heading to the beautiful Jal Mahal.



Literally translating to the Water Palace, this spellbinding monument is a beguiling vista of water, temples, mountains and an awe-inspiring gem of architecture places amidst. The view of the Amer Fort from here is one of the most breathtaking views you will get to see in Jaipur.
